The Capital Wireless Information Network recently provided excellent back up support to Maryland’s Dorchester County communications system. Dorchester County lost its radio communications systems for more than 12 hours on a Friday night and into a Saturday morning. Luckily Dorchester County is a CapWIN subscriber and was able to utilize CapWIN’s private chat feature to relay information to the field, where even the back up radios would have had no or little signal. Congrats to CapWIN for helping Dorchester County pull through what would have been a tough night.
